Leigh Ann Viars

Office Administrator

On July 23, 2021, Leigh Ann experienced a profound moment where she felt God's love and presence in her life, leading to a deep revelation of Jesus Christ. This pivotal moment inspired her journey to Cliffview Church in October 2021, alongside her family. Starting off on the media team, she found joy and fulfillment in serving, eventually stepping into the role of office administrator, where she continues to pour her heart into supporting the church community. As she reflects on her journey, she is guided by the words of 1 Peter 4:10: 'Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.'

They have served in ministry over the last 18 years in different capacities including youth pastoring, music ministers, and interim pastoring. They have a passion for equipping the youth at Cliffview Church with a deep understanding of God's Word and believe it is the key to growing the Kingdom.

Amanda Helton

Director of Children Ministries

Amanda grew up dreaming of being a teacher but little did she know God would fulfill her dream within the church. She started out volunteering in the children’s ministry, then God opened a door for her to further her calling. Amanda and her husband have three beautiful daughters, a precious baby boy, and family is a top priority for her. She enjoys anything outdoors such as camping, hunting and fishing. Amanda loves teaching the Children about Jesus, she says “that is what makes my heart happy”.

Kriss Fox

Minister of Music

Kriss has been involved in music for as long as he can remember. He grew up in a musical family, a pastor's home, where his dad, the Rev. D. G. Fox, played the piano, his mom played the accordion, and his two older sisters also played the piano. Of course, singing was always involved. He later went to East Coast Bible College in Charlotte, NC where he received his B.S. degree in Church music. After marrying, he served many years as a volunteer in local church music programs while working secular jobs.  In 1996 he felt the Lord calling him to full time music ministry at Cliffview where his dad was serving as pastor. Kriss and his wife, Jackie, along with their three daughters, stayed in Galax for nine years until he felt the Lord’s call to northern Virginia as music pastor at Spotsylvania Church of God where he served for several years. The Lord's leading would eventually bring them back to Galax, and back to Cliffview, where he now serves once again as music pastor. However, this time, he and Jackie are grandparents to nine and counting.

Rob Luper

Director of Media & Technology

Rob has been in ministry most of his life and tries to bring all that experience to bare in this current role. He feels humility before the Lord is the key to success and tries to always remember that “he serves at the Lord’s good pleasure…”
