Pastor Jackie & Dawn Poe
Pastor Jackie was saved at Cliffview Church of God in 1972 and began his ministry here in 1989, serving as youth pastor. He has 32 years of ministry experience in Virginia. Pastor Jackie has a heart for the lost and a passion to preach the Gospel and see people deepen their walk with Christ.
Pastor Lyndsey Dunn
Pastor Lyndsey grew up in the Galax area attending Cliffview Church. He has returned to serve at his home church after serving in ministry for 20 years. Pastor Lyndsey and his wife Lauren have two sets of twins and their ministry has emphasized discipling families and communicating what is really important in life. They believe Cliffview plays an important role in the local community and is a place where members can experience an authentic work of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Lyndsey has served in Youth Ministry, as an Associate Minister, Lead Pastor, and as NowGeneration Pastor. He received a Bachelor’s in Christian Ministry at Lee University and a Master’s of Executive Leadership at Liberty University.
Patty serves the church as office administrator. She began attending Cliffview as a young teen. Patty recalls a song from those days that made a lasting impression on her life, Trust in the Lord, directed by Cliffview’s then associate pastor, B. Gary Harris, based on the scripture Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” Patty still relies on that scripture today!
Minister of Youth and Children
The Lord gloriously saved Debbie and gave her a heart for teaching children about Jesus. She began volunteering with Cliffview children’s ministry and the door opened for her to work full- time as Children’s Pastor. She now enjoys leading the youth along with the children to a deeper relationship with Jesus. Hanging out and having fun with the Cliffview kids and teens are at the top of Debbie’s “to do” list!
Minister of Music
Kriss has been involved in music for as long as he can remember. He grew up in a musical family, a pastor's home, where his dad, the Rev. D. G. Fox, played the piano, his mom played the accordion, and his two older sisters also played the piano. Of course, singing was always involved. He later went to East Coast Bible College in Charlotte, NC where he received his B.S. degree in Church music. After marrying, he served many years as a volunteer in local church music programs while working secular jobs. In 1996 he felt the Lord calling him to full time music ministry at Cliffview where his dad was serving as pastor. Kriss and his wife, Jackie, along with their three daughters, stayed in Galax for nine years until he felt the Lord’s call to northern Virginia as music pastor at Spotsylvania Church of God where he served for several years. The Lord's leading would eventually bring them back to Galax, and back to Cliffview, where he now serves once again as music pastor. However, this time, he and Jackie are grandparents to nine and counting.
